Utilities are evaluating the effectiveness of managing charging via time-varying pricing, EV chargers, or telematics. Presenters will discuss large-scale empirical evidence of the effectiveness of time-varying prices for managing home charging, MF charging, and workplace charging based on SDG&E’s experience with 30,000+ homes on its EV TOU rates, plus the 2,500+ charging ports at 250+ sites it owns and operates.
