The report includes a framework for understanding the role of demand flexibility in reducing power-sector carbon emissions, the impact potential of demand flexibility through a national-scale dispatch study, an in-depth resource planning case study, and a summary of areas for further exploration and policy recommendations to ensure that VPPs and demand flexibility meet their decarbonization potential. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and be encouraged to share their experiences with VPPs and Decarbonization efforts with the group.
