Commonwealth Edison (ComEd) deployed its Residential Time-of-Use (TOU) Pricing Pilot in June 2020. The primary objective of the Pilot is to examine whether fixed-price time-of-use rates encourages customers to shift or reduce energy usage during the hours with the highest prices and, typically, highest usage.
