Spring 2026: Adapting Transportation Electrification Portfolios in an Uncertain Market

Date: May 2026

Utilities of all types are supporting transportation electrification through incentives, rates, and technical assistance. In many cases, multiple programs work together as a transportation electrification portfolio, tackling a range of residential and commercial use cases. Yet the extent to which vehicle purchasers and fleet managers are interested in these programs ebbs and flows based on policy support, fuel prices, and many other variables. How have utilities adapted to maintain momentum in their territories even while EV sales stagnate or decline? Have changing priorities impacted approaches to design and delivery?

In this session, utility program managers and implementers will share front-line experiences and lessons related to transportation electrification program design, implementation, and evolution. Join us to hear their stories, share your own, and gather ideas to bring back to your organization.
