COVID 19 has considerably changed how utilities interact with their customers and there is no more sensitive area of this interaction than when needing to enter the customer's home. On June 1, 2020, Connexus Energy, Minnesota's largest electric cooperative, made the decision to restart customer recruitment and installation of their Wi-Fi PowerNap® Air Conditioning load management program, which had been suspended since the onset of COVID in March.

During this session, speakers discuss the best practices developed that led to their decision to resume installs, along with lessons learned from what has been recognized by many as a highly successful relaunch.
