COVID-19 has changed how utilities interact with their customers and there is no more sensitive area within this interaction than when the need arises to enter a customer's home. In June 2020, Connexus Energy, Minnesota's largest electric cooperative, made the decision to restart customer recruitment and installation of its Wi-Fi PowerNap® Air Conditioning Load Management program, which had been suspended since the onset of COVID in March 2020.
This session discusses best practices developed that led to Connexus' decision to resume installs, as well as the lessons learned from this highly successful relaunch.
