By giving customers incentives to reduce usage, demand response programs provide valuable services for the grid, lower costs for customers, and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Pepco Holdings (PHI) has operated its highly successful Energy Wise Rewards program since 2009. With evolving goals, customer expectations, and technologies, PHI understands the need to continuously innovate and explore new options. 

This session walks through PHI's foundational demand response program, as well as two innovative pilots that leverage connected devices and home automation.
