Shifted Energy and Hawaii Energy partnered to provide both DER program implementation with grid-interactive water heaters in combination with energy efficiency services in a delivery model meant to maximize participant energy savings and drive down acquisition costs of recruiting and deployment to Hawaiian Electric. This approach will facilitate market potential and the utility's ability to support and expand new demand-side energy management models.
