In 2022, the Texas PUC created an Aggregated Distributed Energy Resources Taskforce in response to calls for battery participation in ERCOT. This Taskforce is now reviewing 2023 proposals. We’ll learn about its findings which have been influenced by FERC 2222, and by the proliferation of batteries and battery storage systems. These findings also include important perspectives on program design, customer engagement, pricing structures, and decarbonization.
