Central Hudson is a small gas & electric utility in NY State that uses NPA projects to convert natural-gas-using buildings to full electrification. Its goal is to retire 15 miles of costly leak-prone pipeline annually. Whole home electrification replaces gas-using equipment such as water heaters, stoves, and dryers with electric alternatives which can be less costly.
